GNX3 Volume?

Does anyone have a Digitech GNX3 or other series GNX? I've tried programming my set list for the band on this thing. The problem is, when I go live it seems like the volume is all over the place. I'm to the point where I don't even use it live anymore. I gig out with an old pedal board instead. The problem seems to stem from the various amp and cabinet settings because the volume is set consistently. I've even tried to alter the volume to compenstate for the amp settings and even tho the volume seems OK at home it's still way off when I play live. HELP!!
