New neck and strings on an American Standard.
No adjustment has thus far been made to truss rod or bridge.
In the fender manual, page 12 - 13, (also page 14) seting up neck curvature, truss rod, capo on the first fret, depress the last fret, 21 or 22, and at the 8th fret, there should be 0.01" or something.
I am touching, i.e. 0" How do I adjust? My neck looks dead straight, with my eyes anyway.
anybody any ideas of what I should do. Do I turn the screw at the head neck end of the rod, or the screw at the body end of the neck, through neck plate....
