Rusting Out Hardware

I have managed to purposely rust out all the screws on my guitar. The first time I attempted this the rust was not sticking to the screws, it would just wipe off. So what I did was take somesand paper and work through the chrome some, then place it in a try with water and some bleach based cleaner and waited about about 2 weeks. They turned out great!:)

If you plan on rusting out your neck plate or anything eles that may touch you or your clothes you should clear coat it because that rust will rub onto you.
